Paul Irwin is a Staff Systems Engineer at
VMware and has been with the company since
Today he supports VMware's US Corporate
Reseller and Solution Provider partners
as a Core Systems Engineer and a Solution
Prior to joining VMware, Paul worked in various IT roles for
companies in South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United
States. This global foundation has allowed him to leverage 16+
years of technical hands-on IT experience in his current role
Paul holds a number of industry recognized IT certifications
including Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSE, VMware VCP-DCV and VCP-NV.
In his spare time he is an avid aviator and volunteers as a pilot
for a non-profit organization called Pilots n Paws. He is also a
member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and the
Experimental Aircraft Association where he works to promote
aviation to the next generation of prospective young pilots.
The primary reason behind launching this blog was to be able to
provide timely information to VMware partners and customers
surrounding product and service launches and updates as well as
general VMware news and industry information.
Although the focus will be around VMware technologies, this by no
means excludes other areas of technology or industry trends.
